![]() I had the chance to try some PSP Plugins and for me the sound like a big step up from what i have in my daw. I would rather see my money at a smaller company. For me, large companies are rather unattractive. I basically tend to try not to do what most people do. I like vintage sounding songs, and i love to use saturation. Giving the whole a bit more depth and color. I want to buy a few plugins, with which I can upgrade my mixes by a few percent. I have never used original api, neve, pultec, la2a, la3a, 1176 or a tape machine. ![]() but no vintage hardware piece of gear sounds the same, they all modelled different gear, so everthing is fine. From what i read, I have the impression they differ rather in color of the sound or in perfomance, and some have additional features which others do not have. No emulation is then necessarily better than the other emulation. ![]() When it comes to this topic, i often find names like Slate Digital, Waves, UAD, Softube, IK Multimedia. I would be interested in some background information about analog emulations. I am so far satisfied with the results I achieve with the stock plugins. I am using studio one v3 on windows 7 64bit.
